Sad face Jenni is officially announcing that my beach vacay has been canceled. I had to schedule a doctor's appointment one of the days I was supposed to be gone. It is what it is. I couldn't manipulate it to work in my favor.

So I went for a very long walk last night with one of my longest friends. The weather was amazing outside, and although our original plan was something else, the walk was probably better.

Feels about right. Thursday was ridiculous. I was greeted at work yesterday by 4 local police officers, because the alarm on the building was going off. That was exciting. Then at 3:40 my truck driver called me and said that someone ran a red light into the food truck. Oh goodie. Then the person that hit the truck abandoned their vehicle. Oh goodie. While working last week, it occurred to me that my current job has limited to no opportunities for success for me post Covid. This is a really hard pill to swallow for an over achiever. I'm not used to not crushing goals and putting people to shame with my hard core work ethic. It isn't going to exist for me this year or beyond.
