Where was I? Fuck if I know. Oh wait. Work. I definitely wasn't in Florida on the beautiful beach as I wanted to be, but it was o.k. really.
I chose to take the week and really grind out some trucking and catering. It made me feel a lot more ahead in life. My mother survived without me, which was nice. She did have a fall though. I don't have too much to say about that really, other than I was unavailable when it happened. That is part of my job. It was handled. Miraculously, other people appear when it is really needed. I suppose that matters, except what about every other day?
Work is also going to be the trend this week. So. I don't think I will be seeing much of you guys online. But you never know. It is teacher appreciation week, so I am doing a lot of teacher appreciating. Next week is nurse's week and that will be a lot busier. I know G rated Jenni is a drag, but I honestly think some of you like that more than the alternative.
The weather was so nice today. When I finally got home from work, I realized how much I really wanted to be outside. Generally, I like to be outside. I work outside. Being inside sometimes feels a little claustrophobic to me. In the past I have gotten really caught up with the side hustles that I come home from one thing and jump right into another. Today, I just wanted to be outside.
So while I take a little respite to work and breathe, I am counting on you guys to still send me messages, keep in touch, throw me some on/offline tokens every now and again. My rose bush is starting to sprout again. That makes me excited. I sent a text to Taco Tom that our love child's ability to bloom determines future naked time. He had a birthday on Friday. 34. Jesus he is young. I sent him a card. Seriously. Mailed him a card.
I bought a tomato and a kale plant for the deck this year. Let's see how long it will take for me to kill them. I bought a strawberry plant from a co-workers kid's fundraiser. I am looking for a zucchini plant. I don't trust myself with seeds. I bought sunflower seeds and I can already tell I am not going to have success with that. As much as I like my deck streams, I have settled into not buying a house anytime soon, so I am going to give myself what I want here. A garden...on my deck. We will see how it goes.
